Get free help in most counties throughout the state. New applicants can receive up to 20 hours of personalized support.
Help is available in any form you need, including by phone, in person, or with language support and translation.

Getting started is simple. Fill out a request form and a Provider Navigator will contact you.

Who can request help

Help is available to people in Oregon applying to become:

  • Homecare Workers: In-home care for older adults and people with disabilities
  • Personal Support Workers: In-home care for children and adults with intellectual or developmental disabilities
  • Personal Care Attendants: In-home care for individuals with behavioral health conditions
  • Personal Support Worker Job Coaches: On-the-job support for people with intellectual or developmental disabilities

What kind of help is available during the application process

You can receive up to 20 hours of help with:

  • Enrollment forms: Help filling out required enrollment forms and getting help on next steps
  • Background checks: Help understanding the background check process and required documentation
  • Orientation and training sign-up: Help registering for required new worker orientation and trainings
  • Language support: Help by phone, in person, or with translation or interpretation as needed
